COUNSELLING

If you're feeling overwhelmed, unsure of who you are, drained from giving too much, stuck in a cycle you can’t explain, or tired of navigating life on your own — you're not alone.  At I’m Able Support Network, counselling is grounded in the same purpose as all our supports: helping you move toward life fulfilment — in a way that works for you.

Short-term Therapy with Long-term Impact

We've developed a 6–12 week counselling program that is here to help you get unstuck, set boundaries, and move forward with confidence and clarity. Our counselling programs are specially designed for people aged 16 to 30 who are ready to make real change.

This isn’t passive talk therapy — it’s active, practical, and focused on helping you create real change between sessions, not just during them. Our program offers value by helping you to identify behaviours you can count, so you can track your progress.

This service is available for privately funded and NDIS-funded individuals.

Why We Built This Program

Too many young people wait weeks or even months to see someone and are told to “just talk about it” — only to walk away from their first session with nothing they can actually use. What they really need is someone who listens and helps them take action.

We created this counselling program because we saw the gap between traditional therapy and real-life change. Young people were leaving sessions feeling seen, but still stuck. They needed more than reflection — they needed structure, strategies, and someone to walk with them through the mess and momentum of growing up.

This program was built to help you reconnect with who you are, shift what’s not working, and move forward with a plan — not just insight.

Our counsellors are qualified under the relevant national counselling bodies. You are encouraged to always ask for evidence of qualification whenever you speak with a counsellor.

Our Counselling Service is for you if you've experienced
